Description
I was walking down scenic 98 along the Destin beach shore. It is a busy road filled with cars, trucks, bikes, motorcycles, golf carts, just about anything that people can ride on or in. Beyond the chaos of the road was the beauty of the white sands and clear aqua waves. I was looking in the other direction though at the lovely Palms that grew in front of the hotels and motels. It was 7:00 in the evening and the blazing sun was sinking slowly. It was still hot. This Palm kind of reached out to me. I really liked how the light played across and around the lines of these fronds. I think it makes for a cool abstract. I hope it gives you a feel for that time and place and maybe reminds you of a walk in a warm evening as the sun slowly said good-bye to the day.
This was taken in Destin, Florida 2019.
