Description
They flew over head fast and loud. The honking of two Canada Geese sounded like the horns of flying buses in the sky! They are noisy! They seem to be announcing their arrival to all of us below and we had better get out of their way!
One of the two landed and hurried over to others who were standing in a group in a grassy field. The other landed in the water and continued to honk loudly for another minute and then became quite still and quiet. He floated slowly around near the bank. I loved the ripples his movement made in the water and the beautiful reflections of the Spring blooming Redbuds and forsythia. What started out as a screaming siren of noise turned into this peaceful and calm scene within just a few minutes. I wonder if this goose felt that peace as well?

Love the ripples and colors in the water… everything leads us to the Canada Goose swimming gracefully. LF

Ah this is just beautiful, Karen! I love how you have captured the soft golden glow of the forsythia in the water and the blossoming Redbuds. I love geese....yes, they sure can be noisy, but they also have a certain peaceful presence as they glide in the water...and you have captured that so beautifully here! L
