Description
This shot captured the most beautiful Pipevine Swallowtail butterfly I have yet to see! It was kind of a cloudy overcast day, yet warm. The colors of these butterflies is truly magnificent. The blues on the body and wings seems to be an iridescent indigo blue which contrasts so well with the bright orange spots! Unfortunately, these guys are rare in my Ohio garden and I haven't seen one in several years. But I am always looking....and hoping!
Thank you so much for looking at my images. I appreciate that very much.
I am very concerned with our environment and have decided to donate any money I make from any sales of this image to the ENVIRONMENTAL DEFENSE FUND.....because the Earth needs a good lawyer! We all need to speak up and support efforts to protect our environment. We will not get a second chance!

WOW! I really like this one.. half green and half mauve! This is so unusual.. How ever do you find all these butterflies? I'm fascinated on how you get so many photos? Love your gallery! Thanks again for your fun visits and compliments Karen! It really is heart felt! FV
