Description
I bought this plant several years ago because of the beautiful large leaves. I put it out on my front porch for the summer. When the Ohio weather started to get cold, I brought it inside. By that time it had doubled in size and I was really in love with the foliage! I have brought it in and out now for four years. This year is the first time, I have been thrilled with more beauty from this friend now. It's almost like a new baby has been born! Flowers have been blooming for a couple of weeks now. They are tiny and delicate. Today the March sunshine streaming in through the window really lit them up. I could resist no more.
So I present to you, the newest addition to my indoor plant family: Angel Wing Begonia bloom! I see a heart. Do you? I hope to be sharing a couple more with you in the days to come.
The days are dark in the world right now. Much fear, much worry, but I am encouraged to see compassion and so many people pulling together to try to help 'the herd.' We are all unique individuals, but we are all one. Blessings and health to you!!
Thank you so much for looking at my images. I appreciate that very much.
I am very concerned with our environment and have decided to donate any money I make from any sales of this image to the ENVIRONMENTAL DEFENSE FUND.....because the Earth needs a good lawyer! We all need to speak up and support efforts to protect our environment. We will not get a second chance!

I have this begonia too, Karen, and it was recently blooming in my laundry room way over here in the state of Washington. You took much better photos of the delicate blooms than I did. Well done! l/f
