Description
This cute little House Sparrow was enjoying a warm Spring afternoon in Ohio resting in a pear tree. He was singing and flying about in such a carefree manner that I had to stop and absorb the moment. There were clouds in the sky, but that didn't bother this little fellow. He was just enjoying his freedom and nature . . . and actually so was I!
These birds are not really sparrows, but rather members of the Weaver finch family! They construct their large domed nests using scraps of plastic, paper or whatever else they can find.
Thank you so much for looking at my images. I appreciate that very much.
I am very concerned with our environment and have decided to donate any money I make from any sales of this image to the ENVIRONMENTAL DEFENSE FUND.....because the Earth needs a good lawyer! We all need to speak up and support efforts to protect our environment. We will not get a second chance!

The birds and the buds are out. Its nice to hear all the bird songs early in the mornings when our 2 dogs decide 6 am is a good time to go out to the bathroom. If they would only sleep in once in awhile...lol Great Bokeh in the background, and like the branches in the foreground, gives great depth to the image.

I am so lucky, my pup stays in her cage at night as quiet as can be until I decide to get up . . . could be 6:30, could be 8:30! Awesome! Thanks for your views on this image....appreciate them!
