It has been a rainy stormy hot humid week in Ohio! I have had a quiet summer of spotting my favorite little creatures in my yard. This morning while out with my little white puppy I realized a red fox was standing on my patio watching us! You know, it ran through my mind that the fox stood between me and my camera . . . so no picture of a fox . . . . but . . . after some patience of standing out there later WITH my camera, I finally had some luck!
A lovely little female Ruby-throated Hummingbird flew right in front of me and landed on a tall Yucca plant. She patiently posed for almost a minute before getting bored with me and flying off. I really appreciate her sharing a wonderful moment with me today in my garden!
I really appreciate you taking time to look at my artwork. Thank you so much! This is the original size of the image I cropped to 8" x 10." I really love the overall feel of the butterfly being surrounded by the beautiful flowers and plant life here!
I am very concerned with our environment and have decided to donate any money I make from any sales of this image to the ENVIRONMENTAL DEFENSE FUND.....because the Earth needs a good lawyer! We all need to speak up and support efforts to protect our environment. We will not get a second chance!
