Description
Even a small step taken outside of your comfort zone can feel huge. . . . and a big step can feel like a crazy leap. It can be terrifying, overwhelming, exhilarating, awful or wonderful . . . and maybe all of those things! I used to like to travel, but as years have gone by that enjoyment has faded and has been over shadowed with dread mostly. I like my home and my garden and the routine. But sometimes life steps in and smashes the familiar, smashes the routine and shakes the world up. March 13, 2020 was one of those shake ups! That was the day Ohio shutdown for Covid and usual life stuff stopped.
Worry and fear of what lay ahead of us, the entire world, changed the landscape. Loss and grief became familiar. Our comfort zones dissolved into dust and drifted away. Each of us found our own ways to deal with our new world, one that will never seem the same.
Our journeys continue. With the push of a beloved spirit, I took a leap. One little step after another little step and soon a long path had been trod. I'm so glad I didn't do it alone and I'm so thankful that I took a step.
This is the original image which I played with a bit. You can find different versions of this in my Series Gallery.
Thank you so much for taking time to look through my images and collections. I really appreciate your time!
I am very concerned with our environment and have decided to donate any money I make from any sales of this image to the ENVIRONMENTAL DEFENSE FUND.....because the Earth needs a good lawyer! We all need to speak up and support efforts to protect our environment. We will not get a second chance!

So true, Nancy. We truly are all in this together. . . . bound together on our revolving sphere
