The Earth is so great, there is no way for any one person to know, or understand all of its beauty. We see just a tiny fraction of that, but even with that limitation, it is beyond our capabilities to absorb it all. Think about leaves on trees. With each season they give us a unique look, differing colors and textures and even different locations! The excitement of early Spring buds forming on branches . . . . the full rich greens of lush leaves providing canopy from the summer sun . . . . .rich reds, yellows, and oranges of Fall leaves traveling from sky to ground and running on the wind . . . . and wrinkled brown winter leaves, soggy and damp from snowfall and slush.
So I liked looking at this winter leaf very closely and seeing the skeleton and structure of this wonder of nature; beautiful at any age, any season. I have done several variations of this image. If you would like to see them all, please check out my Series Gallery. I hope you like them all!
