Description
It was a hot humid July day in Ohio that saw big thunderstorms roll through late in the afternoon. The dry cracked earth drank in as much as possible, but torrents of water rushed the overwhelmed waterfall causing almost a roar to be heard! Once the storm had passed, I was happy to take my pup for a walk in the somewhat cooler temperatures of the early evening. As we walked towards home we approached the hill that we must climb on our return. I love how the setting sun shown through those still wet leaves and made them glow above the steam that was still rising from the hot earth.
Thank you so much for looking at my images. I appreciate that very much.
I am very concerned with our environment and have decided to donate any money I make from any sales of this image to the ENVIRONMENTAL DEFENSE FUND.....because the Earth needs a good lawyer! We all need to speak up and support efforts to protect our environment. We will not get a second chance!
