Description
A handsome Monarch butterfly enjoys his favorite plant, Milkweed. This was taken in an Ohio garden in July of 2012. The garden is filled with wildflowers to attract butterflies and Milkweed is the most important of them all!
Besides being a very pretty blossom and hardy, these plants are vital to the continuation of Monarchs' existence! If you have any space in your yard, please consider planting Milkweed! For more information on Monarchs, you can visit the site www.Monarchwatch.org.

Karen, I am so sorry to hear about your loss, my friend. And yet, in the midst of the sadness, there is always beauty somewhere....a colourful, crisp butterfly dining on milkweed, for example. Thank goodness for that, or this world would be impossible to bear. You and your family are in my thoughts, Karen...blessings to you....and what a lovely image! L/F
