Description
The Destin, Florida beach is spectacular. There are gorgeous vistas just about every where you turn. When we vacationed there a few years back there was a tropical Storm Debby that greeted us on our arrival. So there were a couple of days that the waters were too dangerous to go in. So we found other things to keep us busy and happy. I really enjoyed just walking along the sandy beach and looking at all the beautiful plants and art nature had left for me to see.
The proper name for this lovely grass is: Chasmanthium latifolium
Poaceae (Grass Family)
It has several commonly used names such as: Inland sea oats, Indian wood oats, Wild oats, River oats, Flathead oats, Upland Oats, Upland Sea Oats
Thank you so much for taking time to look through my images and collections. I really appreciate your time!
I am very concerned with our environment and have decided to donate any money I make from any sales of this image to the ENVIRONMENTAL DEFENSE FUND.....because the Earth needs a good lawyer! We all need to speak up and support efforts to protect our environment. We will not get a second chance!

Thank you! I know I took this outside, but to me it looks staged in a studio almost!
