Description
This is The Long Road Home. It is filled with memories and feelings too deep to explain. When I look at this image, I am transported back to a time that was so profound and intense in my life which is why I chose this dramatic treatment for this scene. It somehow reflects those feelings.
It's a narrow two lane road much of the way that I would drive between my home in northern Columbus, Ohio to a nice college town, Delaware, Ohio. Ohio Wesleyan University takes up a good part of this nice town and adds vitality to the local population that calls this home. My parents lived there for the final few years of their lives and made many wonderful friends. This image shows the way I would travel back home on a road filled with memories. It has a very special place in my heart and each scene tugs at a memory.
I worked on this scene and came up with a couple of other versions that I like . . . so look in my Series Collection soon and see what else I've done.
Thank you so much for taking time to look through my images and collections. I really appreciate your time!
I am very concerned with our environment and have decided to donate any money I make from any sales of this image to the ENVIRONMENTAL DEFENSE FUND.....because the Earth needs a good lawyer! We all need to speak up and support efforts to protect our environment. We will not get a second chance!
