Description
It was early evening and I was walking around the yard. It was cool. It was quiet except for birds singing their final adieu to the day. I was wondering what they were saying to each other. Do they say "good night?"
Do they say "Sweet Dreams?" Well, I wondered and wandered. My eyes rested on this little scene in the corner of the yard. I stopped and smiled. I do love the color yellow and these sweet things have small bright orange cups too! I planted them a few autumns ago and boy, do I enjoy their annual visits to brighten this little niche under the trees.
Martinette is a wonderfully fragrant daffodil with golden yellow petals and a rich, orange trumpet. It will grow well in a rock garden or a natural setting under the trees. (Narcissus jonquilla)
Thank you so much for looking at my images. I appreciate that very much.
I am very concerned with our environment and have decided to donate any money I make from any sales of this image to the ENVIRONMENTAL DEFENSE FUND.....because the Earth needs a good lawyer! We all need to speak up and support efforts to protect our environment. We will not get a second chance!
